Hank recounts events in the life of Sophie Scholl, a young German girl who resisted culture and stood against the Nazis in her day. They just don’t dare express themselves as we did.” On February 22, 1943. Sophie, and her brother Hans were convicted of treason, condemned to death, and within hours, executed by guillotine.
