The Bible Has the Answers

As always, it is just a pleasure to be in the studio to answer your questions across the United States and Canada. And a reminder as well, that the Christian faith is historic and evidential, it’s never blind faith, it’s always faith in evidence. As the songwriter put it:

How firm a foundation ye saints of the Lord,

is laid for your faith in his excellent Word.

We call this the Bible Answer Man Broadcast, which is to say, we believe that the Bible has the answers. It’s never my opinion. We have to take our opinions and subject them to the Word of God. Test all things. Hold fast to that which is good. That of course entails getting into the Word of God and getting the Word of God into you.

We live in a biblically illiterate culture, a culture that desperately needs to get back to the Bible. We need to rediscover the Word of God. What I mean is not that we do not have all kinds of translations and copies, in reality we can go to church in clothes color-coordinated with our Bibles. What I mean is most of us are not getting into the Word of God. The Word of God is gathering dust and we need to correct that woeful situation.

We have to that end developed a Legacy Reading Plan. It teaches how to read the Bible not in bits, but rather in books. It is a glorious way for you to get into the Word of God and to read those sixty-six love letters etched in heavenly hand-writing.

For your gift to the ministry of the Christian Research Institute, I would love to send you a laminated copy of our Place Marker entitled the Legacy Reading Plan. You can order on the World Wide Web at equip.org, via the mail at P.O. Box 8500 Charlotte, NC 28271, or when you talk to our resource consultants at 888-7000-CRI.
