On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (01/29/20), Hank discusses an article from The Charlotte Observer titled “Franklin Graham banned from Liverpool, England, because of LGBTQ ‘hatred,’ mayor says“ by Joe Marusak. The article reports on Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson’s banning of Franklin Graham from the M&S Arena in England, citing that Graham would bring hatred and intolerance. In response, Graham said he did not intend to bring hateful speech to their community, but to bring the Gospel, the Good News that God loves the people of the UK. He states that God defines homosexuality as sin, but goes on to clarify that according to God all are sinners—including himself.

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • Did God use the Big Bang to create the universe? Are natural disasters like earthquakes a part of sin or of God’s plan?
  • Is Luke 22:36 literal or an allegory? If it’s an allegory, what does it mean?
  • How do we respond to those who believe that people are born gay?
