On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (04/10/19), Hank discusses an article in the Washington Examiner titled, “What does Britain’s government have against Christianity and Christians?” by Becket Adams. The article starts with the report of an Iranian Christian convert from Islam who was denied asylum to the United Kingdom. The government agency tasked with overseeing immigration explained that its verdict is based on its assessment that Christianity is not a “peaceful” religion. As Adams points out, this decision puts the Iranian national’s life in grave danger, as apostasy is punishable by death in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • Does the Orthodox Church observe the practice of praying to the Saints in the same way as the Catholic Church?
  • Aren’t we supposed to put effort into working rather than live paycheck to paycheck and rely on God’s provision?
  • If Christ died for our past and future sins, would we be forgiven if we don’t get a chance to repent of a sin?
