On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (11/27/19), Hank discusses an article in The Federalist titled “What Kids In Portland Public Schools Learn About Thanksgiving” by Mary Grabar. In this article, Grabar provides us with a poignant example of indoctrination. Today there are eighth-graders who have been assigned to read Marxist Howard Zinn’s “A Young People’s History of the United States,” which paints the Indian tribes as a homogeneous “mass of childlike people oppressed by the greedy capitalist explorers and settlers.” Hank adds that the indoctrination of students does not stop in grammar school, but also takes place on college campuses as well.

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • Depending on where you are in the world, most people are rich nowadays, so how rich is this person that Jesus is talking to in Matthew 19:16-24?
  • Can you give me advice on how to read through the Bible?
