Today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast includes the following topics:
Hank’s Prologue:
- Hank shares his thought on popular near-death experiences that have been published in books and made into films. The book, The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven was supposedly the story of Alex Malarkey who was severely injured in a car accident and claimed to experience heaven. His mother Beth, however, said otherwise, and it wasn’t until Alex confessed to the fabrication in an open letter, that the publisher pulled the book from circulation. Another book, 90 Minutes in Heaven, by Pastor Don Piper has gained popularity and is now a feature film, which purports an authoritative heavenly experience. Yet Piper’s claims do not comport with Scripture on several points; demonstrating that Christians should not turn to these sources for information about heaven, but rather read their Bibles.
