On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank welcomes Dr. Larry Johnston, Chief Advancement Officer of the Christian Research Institute to discuss having a proper theology of giving. Comparing the war generation who were tremendous givers, to the millennial generation who are not typically givers, but consumers, Hank and Larry make clear that it is not about how much we give to God, but how much of God’s resources are we going to keep. Hank and Larry also talk about the fallacy of giving to get and encourage listeners to give not because CRI needs the money, but to give so they can enjoy the incredible opportunity of transforming lives through the ministry of the Christian Research Institute.

Hank also answers questions on the following topics:

  • I was saved at age 15 but got into drinking alcohol and fell away; now I’m a youth pastor. If I would have died in that state, would I have been lost?
  • Was King James a homosexual?
  • My son’s pastor is single and often spends the night at his girlfriend’s house. Although they sleep in separate rooms and claim to remain pure, this just seems wrong to me; what do you think?
