On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (03/25/20), Hank starts by reminding listeners of the message he received from a dear friend that he talked about on yesterday’s broadcast to pray three times a day, for 21 days, and to pray that we may all be in one accord. Hank also discusses an article he read in USA Today that set his blood to boil. The article, titled “Oldest Animal Ancestor Was a Worm” by Doyle Rice, says that scientists have discovered a fossil of our earliest ancestor—a tiny worm-like creature that lived 555 million years ago. Why does this make Hank’s blood boil? Because if true, if we did, in fact, evolve from a worm, then it’s completely legitimate to say as do name-brand evolutionary naturalists that we have no meaning, that life has no purpose. On the contrary, if we are created in the image and likeness of God, if we are destined to become God-like, our lives not only have purpose in the present but eternal purpose as well. Therefore articles like this strike at the very core of our humanity.

Hank also answers the following question:

  • Can you love God but dislike Him at the same time?
