On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (05/08/19), Hank continues to break down the parts of the Lord’s Prayer by explaining what it means to say “give us today our daily bread.” As God dwells within us, as He fills us with his life and nature, so too He provides all that is necessary for the sustenance of our physical bodies. Hank points out that when we ask our Heavenly Father to “give us today our daily bread,” not only are we praying for our own needs, the needs of our immediate family; but praying for our extended family as well. We aren’t praying as mere rugged individualists, but we’re praying as members of a community of faith—members of the Body of Christ.

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • What are your thoughts on the late Peter J. Peters?
  • How is someone going to tell the difference between the faith that you profess and the faith that my Hindu friend professes?
  • I received a book in the mail titled The Awesome Potential of Man from the Restored Church of God. What is your opinion on it?
