On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (10/26/18), Hank discusses the article “Why Millennials Are Ditching Religion for Witchcraft and Astrology” by Kari Paul. In the article, Paul illustrates the uptick in interest in spirituality while interest in religion is falling among millennials. A study from the Pew Research Center shows that the majority of U.S. adults now believe that it is not necessary to believe in God to have good morals. Meanwhile, more than half of young adults in the U.S. believe astrology is a science, according to a survey by the National Science Foundation. This despite the fact that astrology has been debunked by many academic studies. Hank directs us to Isaiah’s warning to the Babylonians about astrologers and stargazers: “Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame.” “All of them go on in their error; there is not one that can save you.”

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • Does God motivate us by love or anger?
  • Is Reiki healing the same as Jesus’ teaching of laying on of hands?
  • What are your thoughts on Louis Farrakhan and his beliefs?
  • What are your thoughts on women in ministry?
