January 22, 1973 — the US Supreme Court issues the Roe v. Wade decision. Since then, there were nearly 50 million abortions in the US alone. The number of abortions per year worldwide is 42 million. The number of abortions per day is about 115,000. Hank Hanegraaff notes the numbers are singularly staggering. 3 million people in need of emergency aid after the earthquake in Haiti when compared to abortion boggles the mind. Yet, in some ways, Christians have become apathetic to the painful killing of innocent human beings. But Christians need to be salt and light, and while there is still time, we can make a difference (0:37)
