On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank welcomes Dr. Frank Turek once again to continue discussing his book, Stealing from God: Why Atheists Need God to Make Their Case. Frank tells students that one of the best ways they can become effective apologists is to apply the law of non-contradiction to the arguments of atheists. Without realizing it, many atheists hold to self-refuting propositions and exempt themselves from their own theories. So in their attempt to expunge the existence of God, they end up stealing from Him. In his book, Stealing from God, Frank uses the acronym CRIMES to show the intellectual crimes atheists commit when arguing against God, while making the salient points memorable for the reader.

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • Who was Isaiah talking about in Isaiah chapter 53?
  • When we look at the Old Testament laws, how do we know which laws still apply and which laws don’t, and why?
  • Is it okay for Christians to participate in Halloween parties and trick-or-treating?
  • There are two girls I know who are lesbians and attend a church where the pastor is also a lesbian; can they still be true believers? Will God be more merciful to them?
