On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (04/27/20), Hank brings up the most important question that you can ever ask yourself: “What must I do to be saved?” It is precisely the question asked by the Philippian jailer in Acts chapter 16. Paul and Silas responded by saying, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” After hearing the word of the Lord, the jailer believed and was baptized. Salvation is not static but active. Not punctiliar but a process. Not merely a decision but a decided way of living—a way of living by which we are transformed from glory to glory. Salvation is a lifetime journey replete with ebbs and flows. Yet we can rightly praise God for the confidence that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” Hank also deals with an issue that is coming up more and more frequently as people are involved in a game called “Pin the Tail on the Antichrist” where people—particularly in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic—are looking to see if they can determine who the antichrist is.

Hank also answers the following question:

  • Why are all good deeds done by non-believers meaningless to God?
