On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (12/08/20), Hank brings up a question that all of us may have asked ourselves at some point in our lives: “Why am I a Christian?” Hank answers this by saying that he is a Christian because he believes that God created the universe; that Jesus Christ demonstrated that He is God through the immutable fact of His resurrection; and that the Bible is demonstrably divine rather than merely human in origin. This is not blind faith; it is faith founded on irrefutable fact. Hank goes on to say that he is not only a Christian because the Christian worldview corresponds to reality, he is also a Christian because Christianity is existentially satisfying. In this sense, Christianity is to be experienced rather than merely explained.
