On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (05/07/19), Hank shares good news about his health and gives a follow-up on a question he was asked on yesterday’s broadcast about an apparent contradiction between the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. In Matthew’s Gospel, there is an account of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus going to Egypt, while Luke leaves out this account altogether and instead focuses on their return to Nazareth. But as Hank points out, this is not a contradiction but a faulty recounting of events by the caller.
Hank also answers the following questions:
- I feel bad for not attending my parish, but I fear that I will lose what I gained in visiting other churches if I go back. Am I being selfish?
- Is the Acts of Thomas a valid book for Christians to read or is it heretical?
- Do women need to cover their heads as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11?
- In heaven, will we be able to see sadness and suffering on the earth with grieving eyes?
