On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (07/09/20), Hank brings up our resource of the month, the book Gay Girl, Good God by Jackie Hill Perry, who he recently had on the Hank Unplugged podcast to discuss her journey out of a homosexual lifestyle, offering a much-needed testimony for a time when society has embraced radical changes to traditional views of sexual identity. Jackie didn’t write Gay Girl, Good God to merely point out the mistakes of her past, but rather to shine a light on the power of a relationship with God while helping people to understand the realities of same-sex attraction. In the second segment of the broadcast, Hank discusses the Black Lives Matter organization, which stands for more than what you may think they do. If you look at their website, you’ll find out that they seek to disrupt the nuclear family, dismantle cisgender privilege, and uplift Black trans folk—primarily Black trans women. All of this is part of the “word crisis” that threatens to undo Western Civilization.
