On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (03/17/25), Hank shares his thoughts on St. Patrick’s Day. Saint Patrick was born a Brit in the fifth century, but when he was 16, he was captured by Irish pirates and taken to Ireland as a slave. After escaping, he later returned as a missionary. Although all analogies for the Trinity ultimately break down, Saint Patrick supposedly explained this doctrine using a shamrock. Tradition credits him as the founder of Christianity in Ireland and its first bishop. Certainly, many came to faith in Christ through his ministry.

Hank also answers the following questions:

  • Were the Babylonian creation myths written before the Bible, or were they taken from the Bible and altered? Keith – Winston-Salem, NC (3:13)
  • Do we go immediately to heaven or hell after death? Jerome – Oklahoma City, OK (7:19)
  • Who replaced Lucifer as heaven’s choir director? Viola – Oklahoma City, OK (9:45)
  • Are the days of creation in Genesis chapter 1 literal 24-hour days? Paul – Wichita, KS (15:11)
  • I am unable to forgive my ex-husband for all of the horrible things he has done to me in the past. If I don’t forgive him, will I go to hell? Dee – Seattle, WA (23:42)
