On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (05/03/19), Hank says that he fears that oftentimes we can get into a sort of tradition with praying the Lord’s Prayer so that it loses its power and vigor, because we say the words without understanding that this is not a prayer mantra, but a prayer manner. So Hank goes over the phrases in the prayer, starting by explaining what it means to say “Your kingdom come” and “Thy will be done.” In the second segment of the broadcast, Hank contrasts Islam and Christianity by looking at their leaders, Muhammad and Christ. There is so much in the news today about followers of Christ who do horrendous things and followers of Muhammad who do horrendous things, so the thought is that there is somewhat of a moral equivalency between the two religions. But the truth is that if you want to understand the difference between Christianity and Islam, you need to look at their leaders.
