We wish you a Merry Christmas—and a reminder of the proverbial reason for the season. Our prayer is that, amid the noise surrounding modern-day Christmas celebrations, we may as yet hear the faint echo of Isaiah’s earth-shattering pronouncement: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Emmanuel.” And, “he will save his people from their sins.”
