Job Title: Digital Video and Audio Engineer

SUMMARY
Controls audio and multi-camera video equipment to capture A/V footage during live broadcasts, in-studio. Post-capture editing capabilities are required to create finished videos and audio-only content for broadcast, as well as for streaming on the Internet.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversight of all studio functions – audio – video and live streaming
Editing platform for post-production is Apple – Final Cut and/or Adobe suites
Shoot and edit TV spots, marketing videos, training videos, as well as video for web.
Oversight of sound and staff providing call screening equipment for live, daily call-in radio program.
Places microphones and video cameras in locations that ensure quality of video and sound reproduction.
Cuts A/V in, and blends output of individual microphones by adjusting volume, fader, and mixer controls.
HD capture, lighting setup, and audio experience needed for in-studio and on-location shoots. Use of boom and slider periodically.
AUDIO DUTIES FOR LIVE RADIO SHOW IN STUDIO:
Run the audio board, monitor audio signals by earphone, loudspeaker, and by observing dials on control panel to verify quality of sound reproduction.
Sets keys, switches, and dials to synchronize sound.
Obtains various media and themes from library according to program schedule.
Operates digital recording equipment, and related computer software to reproduce music and audio sounds for specific programs.
Edits pre-recorded programs into 60 minute and other various time segments.
Responsible for various computer related audio and video editing/production.
Responsible for live show audio and video streaming software link and uploads finalized audio and video files to various locations such as YouTube, FTP, and other digital repositories.
