Hank Hanegraaff, the host of the ππͺπ£ππ¦ ππ―π΄πΈπ¦π³ ππ’π― broadcast and the ππ’π―π¬ ππ―π±ππΆπ¨π¨π¦π₯ podcast, talks to Mike from MO who wants to know why Satan was allowed to sin in heaven. Hank replies that God created non-corporeal beings like angels so that they could have genuine fellowship and relationship with Him and that requires volition. Without volition (without will) love is rendered meaningless. So God created angels in such a way that they could choose to love Him or choose to do otherwise. In the case of the angels that are unfallen, they chose to love Him. In the case of Satan and those who fell with him, they chose of their own volition to do it their own wayβto glorify themselves rather than to do what they were created for which is to worship and have a relationship with God.
