How Does Forgiveness Bring Freedom?

Hank Hanegraaff, the host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast, explains that forgiveness is a prerequisite for freedom. As Jesus put it, “If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Second, continual confession liberates us with the freedom that springs from forgiveness. And third, brokenness is the road map by which we find our way back to intimacy with the triune God in whom we experience the joy of the ultimate freedom of forgiveness.
