Seven Ecumenical Councils-Glorification in the Christian Life: Fellowship in the Trinity (T-H-E-O-S-I-S)

This video progresses to the first S in THEOSIS which represents the Seven Ecumenical Councils all of which in various degrees impact the matter of theosis. These are epic moments in church history that we all should become familiar with. Each of the seven not only serves to codify Trinitarian and Christological truth but underscore Theosis (glorification) as the universal end of saved humanity. The Fathers of the Seven Ecumenical Councils never lost sight of Christians’ union with God. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they testified to the transcendence of trinitarian and Christological truths. Their authority grounded in the church of the living God— “The pillar and foundation of the truth.”
