On the Bible Answer Man broadcast, host Hank Hanegraaff discusses a Jan. 2019 article in The Guardian titled “In China, they’re closing churches, jailing pastors – and even rewriting scripture” by Lily Kuo. In the article, Kuo covers one of China’s best-known underground churches as China cracks down on Christianity. The church has now been shut down as Chinese authorities have detained the pastor and over a hundred of its congregants while the rest are either in hiding, under surveillance, or banned from the city.
