Hank Hanegraaff, the host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast, talks with Mark who is a Pentecostal and wants to know if the Day of Pentecost speaking in tongues means all Christians should speak in tongues. Hank notes that the idea of Pentecostalism did not come from the Bible. The idea came as a result of an experience that Agnes Osmond had which morphed into Pentecostalism and then morphed into a practice. Then after the fact, it was buttressed by Scripture. But this can be imposing one’s viewpoint on Scripture as opposed to deriving it from Scripture.
